The Story
Old Guys rocking. Before we get too caught up in the art and animations, I would like to get a first pass of how he will go in the game. Let's think of a few of the things he does. He has several very simple states, standing, walking, running, falling, stunned, passed out (if he falls too far). When the user puts him in a scene, his initial state can set set (standing, walking running). He has a halo, so his initial direction is set by his tool flip state. There are not many tool on his halo. Flip (left/right), delete, wrench (that is where we set his walk/run/stand state). Some other logic. If Mel is walking he will reverse direction if he runs into an object, if he falls off what he is walking on, he will go into fall state. If he falls a little ways, he gets stunned, but keeps going. If he falls too far, he gets knocked out and stops moving. /do
